Orbit 50020 One-Zone In-Ground Sprinkler Kit for a planned small in-ground zone supplied from a suitable hose faucet.

OUR TAKE

Choose this model for a planned small in-ground zone supplied from a suitable hose faucet.

Good for
A planned small in-ground zone supplied from a suitable hose faucet.
Look elsewhere if
Your available pressure and flow cannot support the proposed layout.
The tradeoff
A bundled kit simplifies component shopping but still needs a measured site plan.

Get the right setup

  • A suitable hose faucet water source and measured pressure/flow are required.
  • Plan head placement and buried tubing before installation.

Why it earns a look

  • The matched components provide a defined starting package.
  • A hose-faucet timer supplies the one-zone automation.

Where it asks for a compromise

  • Site layout and water-supply checks remain necessary.

Test the water supply before opening trenches

The kit puts a timer, sprinklers and fittings in one package. The important work still happens before installation: measure the site, check the source pressure and flow, and lay out the heads. Six included sprinklers do not guarantee the right coverage for every yard shape.

Living with it in the garden

Watch the first cycle to confirm where water reaches.

Clear filters and outlets when the pattern changes.

WORTH A LOOK ALONGSIDE IT

Your 50020 questions

How many watering zones does it create?

The 50020 is a single hose-fed zone with six sprinklers and a digital faucet timer.

Does it use a wired multi-zone controller?

The kit uses the included hose-faucet timer. Its Blu-Lock tubing and fittings form a different layout from a wired valve manifold.
