Choose this model for gentle local soaking at the base of a tree, shrub or flower patch.
- Good for
- Gentle local soaking at the base of a tree, shrub or flower patch.
- Look elsewhere if
- You need broad lawn coverage or fixed drip-emitter spacing.
- The tradeoff
- The water is concentrated near the head, so wider areas need repositioning.

Why it earns a look
- The diffuser changes a hose stream into local soaking.
- The small head is easy to place beside a plant.
Where it asks for a compromise
- It does not distribute water along an entire row.
Soak one spot without a hard jet
This small attachment breaks up the hose stream at the place you set it. That is useful for a plant's base when a concentrated jet would disturb the soil. Stay with the first watering long enough to see where water pools and how far it spreads.
Living with it in the garden
Watch the first cycle to confirm where water reaches.
Clear filters and outlets when the pattern changes.
