Why it earns a look
- A defined outdoor composting volume.
- A stationary enclosure for the composting area.
Where it asks for a compromise
- The location needs to work through the season.
Make the compost corner easy to reach
Put the bin where the trips from the kitchen and garden make sense, while leaving room to work with the contents. A convenient fixed position is often more useful than squeezing the largest bin into an awkward corner.
Living with it in the garden
Manage the contents and moisture under composting guidance.
Keep access clear for adding and collecting material.
