Keep a few for clean small-tube repairs
A straight coupler is a useful spare when a small distribution line is damaged or rerouted. Make a clean cut back to sound tubing and avoid placing the joint under constant sideways tension. Use a tee when the job is adding a branch rather than extending the same run.
Living with it in the garden
