Handheld SpreadersOUR TAKE
EarthWay 2750 25-pound nylon bag spreader
A hand-cranked seed spreader with a flexible nylon carrying bag.
This is a compact way to carry seed along a larger walking route. Set the strap and flow control before you load the bag, then keep your pace and cranking speed consistent. Check the material directions for the appropriate application rate.
- Good for
- Seed spreading where a carried bag format suits the terrain.
- Look elsewhere if
- A small spot repair may only need a shaker.
- The tradeoff
- The load rests on the shoulder, and application depends on a steady walking and cranking rhythm.
