Chapin 20004 SureSpray 1-gallon pump sprayer
A 1-gallon manual pump sprayer with a translucent tank, funnel opening, adjustable cone nozzle, and 34-inch hose.
A small sprayer earns its place when there are a few weeds to spot-treat or plants to reach beyond the watering can. The 20004 keeps the tank level visible and puts an adjustable nozzle on the end of a 34-inch hose.
- Good for
- Small, label-approved spraying jobs where a 1-gallon tank is enough.
- Look elsewhere if
- The size, product type, or care routine does not suit the job.
- The tradeoff
- A pump sprayer needs manual pressurizing, cleaning, and careful separation of incompatible garden products.

Why it earns a look
- Small, label-approved spraying jobs where a 1-gallon tank is enough.
Where it asks for a compromise
- A pump sprayer needs manual pressurizing, cleaning, and careful separation of incompatible garden products.
Start with what you plan to spray
The tank capacity is 1 gallon, a manageable size for a short round of spot treatment. Check that the liquid label and Chapin instructions both permit the application. Keep a dedicated sprayer for herbicides so traces do not end up on plants you meant to keep.
Give filling and cleanup a little room
The funnel opening helps guide the fill, and the translucent polyethylene tank lets you see the level. Leave room for the pressure and filling procedure in the instructions. Relieve pressure as directed before opening, then clean and store the sprayer according to the product labels.
